About Zayin Trade International

Zayin Trade International, the export arm of Zayin Group (since 2000), exporting jute products and fresh produce from Bangladesh to the UK, EU and GCC.

Zayin Trade International is the export arm of Zayin Group, trading since 2000. We bring two of Bangladesh's great export strengths under one trusted, certified brand: jute, produced in our own mill, and fresh fruits & vegetables, handled through our pack-house network.

What we do

On the jute side we manufacture and export food-grade sacking bags, hessian cloth and bags, yarn, rope, geotextile and raw fibre. On the agro side we grade, pack and ship specialty vegetables, seasonal fruits and premium mango to the UK, EU and GCC.

Why buyers trust us

We lead with proof: verifiable certifications, accurate specifications, mill- and pack-house-direct sourcing, and effortless quoting by form or WhatsApp. Our focus is making it easy for large international buyers to qualify us and place confident orders.

Our Story

Over Two Decades Rooted in Bangladesh's Export Economy

Zayin Group was established in 2000, at a time when Bangladesh's jute and agricultural export sectors were entering a new era of private-sector development. We grew alongside that transition, building relationships with raw material suppliers, investing in production infrastructure, and earning a reputation among international buyers as a supplier that delivers on specification and delivers on time.

Today Zayin Trade International is the group's export-facing division, structured to meet the compliance and documentation standards that large European, British, and GCC importers require. We operate across two product divisions, jute manufacturing and fresh produce, giving buyers a single, accountable counterparty for both categories.

Jute Division, Mill-Direct

Manufactured at our own mill in Bangladesh: food-grade VOT sacking, B-Twill bags, hessian cloth, yarn, rope, geotextile, and raw fibre. Mill-direct supply means fewer intermediaries and full traceability from fibre to finished bag.

Agro Division, Pack-House Network

Fresh fruits and vegetables graded, packed, and cold-chain handled through our pack-house network. Produce is exported to UK, EU, and GCC markets under phytosanitary cover on every consignment.

Compliance-Led Operations

Our commercial model is built around documentation: accurate specifications, verifiable quality standards, and third-party inspection on request. We treat certification as a competitive advantage, not an afterthought.

Registered & Verified Exporter

Zayin Trade International holds active registration with Bangladesh's Export Promotion Bureau (EPB). EPB registration is the government's primary legitimacy baseline for exporters, verifiable by buyers directly at epb.gov.bd.

Why Bangladesh

The Source Country That Defines the Jute Industry

Bangladesh and India together account for approximately 94% of global jute production, with Bangladesh the dominant exporter of finished jute goods by value. The country's comparative advantage is structural: the Bengal Delta flood plains produce white and tossa jute fibre rated among the highest quality in the world, at landed costs that no other country can match. Over 200 active mills, a deep pool of skilled labour developed across generations, and export infrastructure centred on Chittagong Port, one of South Asia's highest-volume container terminals, mean that reliable, large-volume supply is achievable in ways that alternative sourcing regions cannot replicate.

Bangladesh exports jute goods to more than 100 countries and the sector consistently ranks among the country's top five export earners. The International Jute Study Group (IJSG), to which Bangladesh is a member, provides the intergovernmental framework that governs quality and trade standards globally. Being sourced from Bangladesh is, for many buyers, a meaningful trust signal in itself, one backed by decades of documented export performance.

For buyers whose due diligence includes supply chain transparency, Bangladesh's jute sector also offers a traceability advantage: fibre origin, mill location, and processing method are documentable at every stage. Our jute product range is manufactured under these conditions, with documentation available to support your procurement qualification process.

How We Work With Buyers

A Supplier Built Around the Needs of Large International Importers

International B2B buyers, commodity traders, supermarket supply chains, food manufacturers, and industrial importers, have specific requirements that go beyond price and product availability. They need suppliers who can provide accurate technical specifications, respond quickly to pre-qualification queries, support letters of credit and standard payment terms, and deliver to schedule across repeated orders. Zayin's commercial processes are structured around these requirements.

  • Specification accuracy: All product pages carry detailed technical data, weight, weave, dimensions, GSM, treatment type. We do not publish ranges; we publish confirmed figures and advise on customisation options separately.
  • Incoterm flexibility: We support FOB Chittagong, CFR, and CIF as standard. Incoterm, payment terms, and inspection arrangements are confirmed at the quote stage, not during negotiation.
  • Pre-shipment inspection: Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, or buyer-nominated inspectors is available on all jute orders. Inspection costs are typically for buyer account and can be arranged at the RFQ stage.
  • Sample availability: Production samples are available for specification verification before orders are placed. Lead times for samples are confirmed at enquiry.
  • Documentation package: Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin (Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce), bill of lading, and applicable certificates are provided as standard. Phytosanitary certificates accompany every fresh produce consignment.

We are built to make qualification easy. Our certifications and quality page consolidates the compliance information buyers need to add us to approved vendor lists. Our quote request form is designed to reach a specialist within two hours.

Values

Quality, Traceability, and Sustainable Sourcing

Three values underpin everything we do: quality that is measurable and documented, traceability that covers the full chain from raw material to shipment, and a commitment to sustainable sourcing that supports our buyers' own ESG obligations.

On quality: we do not rely on self-declaration. We support third-party inspection, provide test reports where requested, and work toward industry-recognised certification standards that give buyers independent verification rather than supplier assertions. The certification framework we work to, and are progressing toward, is detailed on our quality page.

On sustainability: jute is one of the most naturally sustainable industrial materials available. It is renewable, biodegradable, generates no microplastic waste, and sequesters carbon during growth. Sourcing jute from Bangladesh, where smallholder farmers have cultivated the crop for generations using minimal inputs, connects buyers to a genuinely low-impact supply chain. For buyers subject to CSRD, CS3D, or corporate ESG commitments, this is documentable supply chain value. Our sustainability page sets out the environmental evidence in detail.

FAQ

Common Questions From International Buyers

Is Zayin Trade International a manufacturer or a trading house?

Both. On the jute side, we are a manufacturer and exporter, production takes place at our own mill in Bangladesh, giving us direct control over quality, specification, and lead times. On the agro side, we operate through a pack-house network where produce is graded, packed, and cold-chain handled before export. We are not a commodity broker or agent acting on behalf of third-party mills.

How do buyers verify Zayin's credentials?

Our EPB (Export Promotion Bureau) registration is verifiable directly through the Bangladesh government's EPB portal at epb.gov.bd. Certificate documents, ISO, OEKO-TEX, food-grade VOT declarations, and audit reports, are available for download or on request from our certifications page. We can also provide a company profile dossier for procurement teams conducting formal due diligence.

What minimum order quantities (MOQ) apply to jute products?

MOQs vary by product and specification. Food-grade VOT coffee and cocoa bags, B-Twill sacking, and hessian cloth are produced at container-load quantities as standard. Exact MOQs and lead times are confirmed at the quote stage, use the quote form or WhatsApp to get specifics for your product and destination.

Can Zayin supply both jute packaging and fresh produce in the same shipment?

Our two divisions operate independently in terms of logistics, jute products ship as dry cargo from our mill, and fresh produce ships under refrigerated or ambient conditions via our agro pack-house. Combined commercial relationships across both divisions are common, but they are handled as separate supply chains with separate documentation.

Does Zayin support letters of credit (LC)?

Yes. We support standard irrevocable documentary letters of credit as well as TT (telegraphic transfer) and DP (documents against payment) terms. LC requirements, including required document types and presentation timelines, are confirmed at the proforma invoice stage before any LC is opened.

What is the lead time for jute products from order confirmation to shipment?

Standard production lead times are confirmed at the quote stage and depend on product type, order volume, and current mill scheduling. As a general indication, finished bag orders for established specifications typically ship within weeks of order confirmation. Exact timelines are always confirmed in writing before the order is placed.
